Sun Stage Programs

In 2021, in addition to our Drama classes, we will also be adding a newly developed Performance Play program for our littlest performers, a Musical Theatre program and Sun Stage Studio, classes for older students with prior acting experience.

Performance Play

An energetic class for 3 - 5 year olds that promotes creativity, confident speech and working together. Students will be introduced to basic, foundational performance skills in a fun environment that combines songs, creative play, craft and puppetry.

Musical Theatre

A course for 6-18 year olds, that combines singing, dancing and acting. Each week, students will work on ensemble singing, choreography and developing character for the stage, working towards a group numbers for our performances in Terms 2 and 4.

Drama

Classes for 6 - 12 year olds that develop the foundational drama skills of creating character, vocal projection and movement. Students will explore theatre for stage, screen and improvisation, and work on a play for our performances in Terms 2 and 4.

Sun Stage Studio

A course for young adults (13+) designed to further develop and refine acting skills for stage and screen. Students will have the opportunity to work with industry professionals and develop audition techniques to launch themselves into a career in the performing arts.
